Release time:
2023-07-14
Graphite petroleum coke (GPC) is a byproduct of the oil refining process and is a key material for the production of steel. High-quality GPC is characterized by its low sulfur and nitrogen content, high carbon content, and low ash content. These properties make it an ideal material for use in the production of high-quality steel. In the building and decorative materials industry, GPC is used as a
In the building and decorative materials industry, GPC is used as a component in refractory bricks, which are used to line furnaces and other high-temperature applications. GPC is also used as a carbon additive in the production of cast iron and as a lubricant in the production of aluminum.
Sustainable sourcing is becoming increasingly important in the GPC industry. As demand for high-quality GPC continues to grow, there is a need to ensure that the material is sourced in a responsible and sustainable way. This includes ensuring that the extraction and processing of GPC does not have a negative impact on the environment and local communities.
In conclusion, high-quality GPC is a key material for the production of steel in the building and decorative materials industry. Its unique properties make it an ideal material for use in high-temperature applications and as a carbon additive. The importance of sustainable sourcing cannot be overstated, and it is essential that the GPC industry takes steps to ensure that the material is sourced responsibly and sustainably.
